fm not working

Hi , im new to the club
Can any1 please help?
I have a volvo xc70 and last week my radio started to play up some times fm doesnt work at all or is very quiet and crackley , the cd and am radio work perfect its just fm. What could cause this and is it easy to fix?

id take unit out a check the connections,

have a look at the connectors to the rear side windows just above the headlining where they fit to the glass .. you might find one knocked off .

Would help to know what the year of car is and model of head unit is.

Its 2005 model , checked connection on rear windows there fine. Start car and fm doesnt work, after awhile it start to crackle then fade in and out then after around 30mins works ok. Cd and am work fine with out problem, just fm
