Driving Journal
Quick question, please.
I note the driving journal records the previous 100 days of driving. Is it possible to download the journal to a pc? TIA IFO |

From Volvo web.
"The travel information can then be downloaded and saved in Excel format, a useful function if, for example, you have a company car, see Volvo On Call app: Manage driving journal". So guessing if you have the VOC app on your phone or tablet you can download and then push it over to your PC. Not sure if their is a PC/Mac app. |

Many thanks Mike, I had a play and it's so simple I'm left wondering how I failed to see it.
I sent it to my Mac as a CSV file via Bluetooth and it opened in Numbers as a spreadsheet. |

I am trying to work out if it is worth enabling VOC. Can you tell me what are the column headers in the spreadsheet?

Very interesting, thanks. One more question if I may, how does it record the start and end addresses, is it post codes or something even more detailed?

id5, sorry just picked up you had asked another question.
Interestingly it gives detail down to street number and name where such exits (so far it's accuracy as far as it recording your destination is not 100%), alternatively it records, for example, A684 , Sedbergh. No post code shown. Edited to add an actual line. Last edited by I Feel Old; Dec 31st, 2018 at 11:24. |
