Default New rear Monroe shocks - 700/900

Pair of never used Monroe rear shock absorbers for sale. Suitable for all 700/900 models without self-levelling rear suspension. Model number R3412. Asking £30 ono, excluding delivery.

I could well be interested. I was going to get Bilsteins so wondered if these are as good ?

Monroe are a good brand Mark, Australian I believe, my Dad used them in his Discovery 1 and never had issues.

I've got new B4's for the front so I think I'll go same on back ( my ocd dictates that )

Monroe are a good brand Mark as Luke says. Was surprised about the Australian comment though, i thought they were British! Did a bit of digging and found i was wrong on that as well!

Turns out they're American, started in Monroe, Michigan.

Could well have been Luke - from the history page on the Monroe site :

"Monroe Auto Equipment expanded to Europe in 1964; Japan, Australia and Mexico in 1972; South America in 1974; and Canada in 1975."

They had a prescence in Australia from 1972 so a very good chance what you had in NZ was made in Australia.
