The '86 GLT models seem to have been available with a choice of two Kw ratings. Anyone know how to tell which one mine is?
Has yours got egr rubbish on it? Being in Australia I imagine it does so will be a B200EO, get rid of the egr and power is restored.

Considering the prices good cars seem to go for in Aus and NZ must almost be at the point where they're worth importing to the UK

I think you are confusing what it SHOULD be worth which what it IS worth.

If you hold out you would get one somilar to that for the 3k mark, 4.5 max.

You would never achieve 6k for it.

My price range was going of the very few cars in top condition with low miles have sold for.

There are a couple of very low mileage 340's that have sold for 5k - 360's tend to command a higher price than 340's

I think Dai's estimate is fairly accurate, the car in question was a low mileage 360 GLT advertised by a classic car dealer for £6k and it sold reasonably quickly, so I'd assume it sold for something near that.
