Default New Model S40/V50 Alloy Wheels

Just a tip to anyone out there with a new model (focus based) S40/V50!

Take the time to jack the car and take ALL the wheels off (one at a time of course!!) and put a little copper slip or the like round the centre locating spigot.
Its just taken me over 10 minutes a side to get the front wheels of my 2005 model S40 (to check the pad thickness), lots of swearing etc.
The alloy is a tight fit on the steel locating spigot, and the two different metals are reacting, growing together.
A little time spent now might save a lot of grief if you should get a puncture, needing to get the wheel off in the dark and rain (whenever else do punctures occur?) by the roadside!

It not just S40/V50's that need it, all cars with alloys are the same

Some wheels we have to get off cars some times i wouldn't like to be the customer with the crappy little jack trying to wheels off when they are seized to the hubs
