Its lost compression on cylinder number 3 so I'm in the middle of removing the head to see what the cause is.

I'll most likely sell the car as a whole instead of completely breaking it up but it will depend on what I can get for it.
I will have to decide if getting the car is the best option that will depend on if the immobolizer can be bypassed

Yea I had a chat to a friend today who said the ecu will need the immobilizer signal to continue putting out spark signal, not just fuel supply from the pump but I'm not sure yet. Ofcourse I can use a separate fuel pump and 12v relay switch if the car will just need fuel feed.. Pls let me know what you find

How much will you be looking at out of interest?

Not really sure mate but if I was able to get 350 I could take that.
It is taxed and MOT'd.

Its all irrelevant right now though as I'm yet to find out the expected cost to repair the burnt exhaust valve.
I will update the thread I created once I've got a price.

How much for the exhaust valves from the T4 mate?
Assuming it is a B4194T, or if its the B4194T2 and the valves are compatible.

It was the B4194T and someone grabbed the whole head. Only thing I have atm is the bits from my own 2001 T4

Hey Gatos did you find any information about the immobilizer? If it cuts out the fuel pump because I can bypass the fuel pump and use a separate one if the ecu will continue to send a spark signal to the spark plugs

I have heard two different sides of the story, so not sure myself. The only thing I can confirm for sure is that the fuel pump will cut out. COnfused about whether the ECU will send a signal or not to the spark plugs. Best thing is to post in the forum and hopefully someone will have the answer to that

Hi Alex,

I don't suppose you have the sump and oil pump for an 2002 S40 1.9D hanging around?

Cheers.
