Is it possible to replace the bulbs in the switches on my 1997 V70, or do I have to replace the whole switch?

cheers
Chris

Do you mean the switches for things like foglights, and other accessories?

If so, then yes you can replace the bulbs. I replaced one recently. I couldn't find the same type of bulb in places like Halfords, so I went to a dealers.

They ordered one for me - I got it the next day. It included the bulb holder, as well as the bulb, so you don't have to do anything fiddly with the bulb's wires.

Might have cost a pound, or two - perhaps expensive for a bulb, but not having to mess around with mounting the bulb in the little white holder.

The official price for the dashswitch illumination bulbs is around £4 each. If you are handy with a soldering iron it is quite possible to change the bulb part only at a much reduced cost.

All the best, Peter.
