only the rear are monitored , are the two front on at the same time?
Like a div I just changed the front two and they both come on - didn't think about the rears. Can't face going to Halfords again so will order some online. I've just checked and one of the rears has a blown filament - but for the hassle I'll change both.

Am just glad it's not something more painful, have a service coming up that needs to sort the park break and the anti skid (intermittent - not expensive but a pain I could do without)

Your halfords bulbs won't last long , you need the volvo long life version with the blue bobble inside or you will forever be changing one of the 8 parking light bulbs .. PN 989839

I've just picked up two 5W bulbs with part number 989839 and unlike the previous ones I bought they don't have a blue blob inside, it's white.

I compared them to the ones the garage originally supplied me with, Part no. 989795, which again has a white blob inside but comparing the lettering on the glass there is a difference.

Part no. 989795 says OS12VW
Part no. 989839 says OS12VWL ('L' for long-life??)

When you get your bulbs could you reply back with what your receive?

Looking at another bulb, I can see that the reverse and brake light bulbs, part no. 989757 described as long-life on VIDA, have printed on the side 'Osram SK 7506L'. Perhaps another 'L' for long-life?

Thanks.
