Changing the front grill - Page 3

Crikey Roy, now you have me confused !

Back to basics...the one I wanted was the latest 'big badge' one...but dealer was £200+ and even FRF >£180.

I ended up buying what I believe is the first version, so the same as your 03 version? For £25...but it was absolutely unused (hence the brand new comment).

So it is the small square badge, on a black grill, with silver trim. The one that came off my car was bigger, square but badly discoloured (the badge)...the egg crate part of the grille being a silvery kind of colour.

Crikey, I am wondering if that is any clearer? Hope so

Yes, thanks. I wonder if your original grill was a Volvo one. I always thought there was just one version of the suare badge. I've nevr had a Volvo grill discolour either. All mine have lasted extremely well.

Fairly sure it was an original, looks the same as all the other 07's apart from the discoloured badge. ;0)

Probably is. Like I said it's not unusual for me to miss stuff on the newer models, especially if it's a subtle change.

I think there have been three versions of the grill.

Original square badge which was small

Then there was square badge but slightly larger

and then there is the current big badge version.

Could be wrong on this however
