Generation AWD on our V70, but when I needed some information on the AWD I went to VW / Audi sites on the internet. Their AWD has been sold a lot more than Volvo's and hence there is a lot more discussion about it. The system is very similar to across different car brands. The viscous one you have is also a Haldex - 1. Generation. From the the 2. generation haldex changed the design.
