Im pretty sure its under the bonnet below the plastic trim that runs full width in front of the windscreen, Theres a few screws to remove, there may not be a filter fitted, just the space for one , in which case you can buy one and slip it into the space. It should be on the passenger side. I may be totally wrong, see if you get any more replies!!!

good luck

I've done this and posted the procedure - use a search for pollen filter and you'll find it.

There is also a procedure with pictures on the Volvospeed website, but that assumes you have the plastic receptacle the filter fits in - you won't.

You have to order and buy both bits first.

Hi ya,

Did you have your car from new if you did they changed the part number and design of the filter and holder later in production. This will mean you will have to buy the newer s70 replacement insert and holder. If you are luck you will all ready have the later design.

You can tell the older design as the insert had a plastic mesh cover the filter material. The newer one just looks like paper.

Just as a not, they do a charcoal version now as well now in the stats as stardard so you could ask if that is available too.

Hope this helps.

Mark.
