  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

On the subject of the front windows, if the switch module is the same as in the V70 then they are prone to failure.
It will eventually fail !!!
About £85.00 to replace. I've had it done.

Similar thread on clutch squeel problems on the 940/v90 site. one small point to check if changing clutch. Volvo garage changed my friends clutch but the thrust bearing was also damaged. Of course when doing a clutch you should check the bellhousing but working with the right gear you are probably only checking the clutch itself and not looking at the crud in the bottom of the bellhousing. A couple of balls from the race were however left in the ballhousing with the most wonderful results!!!Cheers Nigel

Before replacement, use contact cleaner in situ and if no cure, remove and clean - my driver's window went intermittent due to muck falling into the switch.
