Default How does the condition of my suspension look?

I took the wheels off for a preliminary inspection.
I currently have new springs and shocks and front end links ready to install but would like a second opinion on the condition of several of the bushes.

I'm thinking of changing the tyres, springs, shocks and endlinks. Would it be reasonable to change those first to assess the ride quality before considering other replacements?
Please take a look at a few photos I took and tell me what you think. I have literally no prior experience in this area.

These were just from the right hand side, left hand side were of a similar kinda condition

Well they do look in a sorry state but, and it's a big but......if they do not have any "play" in them then I think it's only an advisory on the MOT. Not sure if this helps, but I would imagine that many are the same as the years roll on.
If you feel you need to do them.....do them.

If you are going to replace the shocks and springs a lot of the suspension needs to be undone/removed. Whilst you are in there doing half a job, you may as well do the lot and know it is all good and will not need doing again for sometime. Whatever you decide to replace, make sure you have the tracking checked and adjusted afterwards. Your car will be transformed.

I would also replace the driveshaft boots - it will be easier to do while the suspension is apart - as the boot in the photo is beginning to perish and will not last long.
