Default Volvo car mats

Quick question guys. When I got my C70 the drivers side mat only had one fixing on the carpet to hold the mats in place, ordered a genuine Volvo one which turned up today I was expecting a three on one end to secure it into the carpet but nothing? ?
How are they secured to the carpet please?

Genuine mats are held in place with two retainers at the side nearest the seat. You should see the holes for them in the mat like mine here:

The part number for the retainer is 8641613.

That’s the part I’ve got,but how does it attach to the carpet?
Usually they’ve got a plastic thread on the bottom to screw into the carpet?

There is a bracket with a thread on it that goes up through the carpet from the underside. The retainer screws onto that bracket. It has part number 8641612.
