New arrival, 1996 850 TDI wagon
Another 850 TDI to the collection.
Picked it up the other day. It's the blue one in the pictures. It has had the same owner since 1998 and well looked after but also well used. The milometer stopped in 2010 at 186000 miles and was never repaired, so i am estimating between 250,000 and 300,000 miles. I drove it 230 miles home without an issue. No knocks, bangs or niggles. Just about everything works apart from the air con and heated seats. The wheels are in a poor state too. I just couldn't leave it, even though i had to drive 230 miles to look at it. I had a good feeling about it although it hadn't been washed properly for some time. A full and comprehensive service history included. Typical the pictures are on its side.

That looks like it will scrub up well. The colour should take a nice shine too.
The photos have fallen over because they are too tall - resize them and they will be fine.

This is my smashed up V70 TDI,
It is in the process of being straightened while we speak. As you can see from the photo's. Its just too good to scrap. It has cost £1000 to just straighten the chassis. Ouch!! I managed to pick up a complete front bumper, indicator, headlight and the resin front panel for around £100, so all is not lost.
