My New Volvo S40 D5 Sport..

Hi all,

I've put down a deposit on this beast, and will be collecting it this Friday.
The spec of the car is,

Met Black
Xenons
Headlight Washers
Sunroof
Electric Heated Seats
White/Beige Leathers
Parking sensors
Satnav
MFSW
Cruise Control
Rear Spoiler
18' Wheels
41K Miles

Looks nice but reckon it's crying out for some slightly larger exhaust tail pipes.

How do you find the performance?

I paid £6800 for the car, the owner changed the cambelt, got it serviced, and got it taxed today, including gear oil.
That will be my first mod, i'm going to speak to shark performance to about the Miltek exhaust, dpf removal and a remap.
This is the spec I wanted on a D5, and i got it

To follow:

Miltek exhaust
DPF Removal
Remap
Intercooler
19' BBS style wheels
Tints
Black Grill
Coilovers

This will start mid summer next year, bit by bit

Miltek will be fitted early next year. I only test driven it once, when I had a look at the car. Crikey the engine roars when you put your foot down, i had a smile on my face

The car is based in Gloucestershire, not far from where I live (Bristol).

Very excited, cant' wait...

Nice car, just pray that you dont get the 'Engine System Service Required' problem. I've been suffering with it since I picked my car up in May

Is that a common/major problem with these cars? Does it give much harm to do the engine itself?
