Default Anyone remember “lambi levels” ?

Lambi level was a very simple spirit level device, made and marketed many years ago (late 70s early 80s) by Mr. Lambi, a member of the Caravan Club. Consisted of a slightly curved glass tube containing a liquid and a bubble, mounted in a metal frame. These were weatherproof and were mounted onto the outside of the van in strategic positions so that it was immediately obvious whether it was level or not. Ideally, one on the front visible from the car for E W levelling, ( ideal when parking on uneven ground so that one could see if the van was roughly level or needed to be moved a few inches forward or back before unhitching ) one on the rear (to ensure that the chassis was not twisted by winding the corner steadies too far) and one on the side of the A frame for NS levelling. ( visible whilst winding the jockey wheel down ). I have three which I have transferred from van to van but we need something similar for my daughter’s van. They don’t appear to be available now. Many years ago there was an amber reflector marketed which incorporated a spirit level on the upper edge, but I haven’t seen any of them lately.
