Out of all the 300s and all 400s the 480 will be the car that increases in value the quickest, I do, to an extent, wish I still had my lovely one. Absolutely loved 480 ownership and do miss being part of it

Only 673 460's taxed left, good ones should start to go up in price over next couple of years with a bit of luck.

I guess I didn't really have a proper 480 experience, mine was almost perfect . Michael got a gem!

No one aspires to own a 440 or 460, I can't see them ever increasing in value significantly just like 300 haven't really over the years. It's sad but they're Volvos. Mundane stuff doesn't seem to be worth much unless it has a blue oval on the front!

The volvos will always have a cult following bucking the trend of the Blue oval menace

I think blue oval owners don't like volvos cause they last forever and a day and dont need tittivating daily to keep it falling appart.

Buy an mk1 escort, you may aswell have a second complete one in the garage for the frequency of how often they break.

Volvo are doing the V8 supercars this year. So in Australasia I'd say performance Volvo's will be going up. 850R for the win!

Up here in Scotland, the 400s seem to be as rare as hen's teeth. The (well known) Volvo garage I use really only sees one 440 in during the year, showing how few there are left up here.

Up until at least 2007, 440s were relatively plentiful, 460s less so. I'd love a 440 or 460, however the problem is there really are zero for sale within a reasonable distance, hence why I went and bought an S40. By chance, a 440 came up for sale late last year, but was sadly too overpriced in my view. Maybe one day I'll own one...IF I find one up here!
