Default Yaw sensor

Righto guys,

I have the awful anti skid service required message up. Turns out the Yaw sensor is knackered. (leaking/overflowing sunroof drains. All sorted now.) I want to get the underneath of the carpets dry and get the sensor out, but Im not sure which side it s on. ive seen lots of stuff on the net saying its under the passenger seat, but these were all LHD cars.

So my question is, is the sensor on the driver's side or the passenger's side in a 2004 xc90??

Cheers

James

Should be the drivers side I believe (rhd). Never had mine out - but I'm certain that's where it is.

Well thanks to everyone on this forum. All great info!!! So Volvo quoted me damn new £1000 for new yaw rate sensor. anyway following advice from here and from Vida, I have sorted it. £75 for a sensor from a salvage yard couple of afternoons with towels under the foam floor and about 40mins to swop the sensor. 2 min test drive and all sorted, so thanks again!!!!

That's a saving of £925
