Who is going to the Ally Pally show.
I notice that there is a VOC stand there.
Who am I likely to meet?

I went to Ally Pally and was very disappointed with the VOC stand.

I felt sorry for Andy (Rowlands) and his wife who must have spent the whole weekend apologising to members and potential members.

The stand construction (provided by Volvo GB?) was very professional but the very average Volvo Estate rolling restoration just parked side-on was one of the worst classics in the whole show. The stand could have taken three cars. I am sure if you had asked on here for cars to display there would have been lots of offers - you could have certainly had mine, and I would have paid the petrol to get there!

If the organisers invite us back again to their next show in October, just call me and I'll be there.
