Engine system service required

VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

RyanD New Member Last Online: Oct 15th, 2017 13:10 Join Date: Oct 2017 Location: Durham	Engine system service required Hi, Just bought a Volvo v40 d3 about 2 weeks ago and everything has been fine until I was driving along the motorway today and "engine system service required" appeared on the dash. I've only been doing about 12 miles a day (6 miles to work and back) until I took it on the motorway today and that message popped up. I had a read of some other forum posts and I reset the warning and took it for a drive and it popped up again. I suspect it could be something to do with the DPF regeneration. It's done 60000 miles and was last serviced 124 miles ago. Hope that gives you enough information, could someone please shed some more light on it?
