Egg Crate Grille for '97 940 - Page 2

As an alternative to an egg crate i did this with mine...

As i am cheap and didn't want to pay for an egg crate as they are generally quite overpriced.

It now has the badge set up back on and looks pretty good, dare i say i prefer it to the egg crate.

Will get a photo of it on the 940 when i get the chance.

This is my grill, the chrome has been 3d carbon fibre wrapped, but i have now just bought an egg crate grill

Here is how it looks with the badge back on and on the car.

Quite pleased with the outcome. Excuse the filt on the car i havent washed it in weeks

What have you done? I think I might be a bit backwards, but it looks the same as a standard grill?

The centre is normally the same colour as its surround. So its now black instead.

Its a very subtle change but makes the front end look alot less dated.

to my surprise after showing my wife the pictures on this thread she sent away for an egg crate grill and give me one this morning . right enough they seem nice.
before and after pictures of my early christmas present.
