XC90 Wanted - Diesel, Auto, up to £7k.

Hi all,

I'm looking for an XC90, Diesel, Auto, my budget is up to about £7,000.

If I don't have to spend that much, I obviously won't, but given I'm after something with FSH, no obvious faults (per the "What goes wrong" thread) and ideally with mileage of not more more than 100 - 120k, I appreciate I might be stretching it even at that!

I'm not a trader, I'm only looking because my venerable V70 (262,000 miles) is getting a little past it (aren't we all!), and I've got a little spare cash after being made redundant.

I'd rather buy off a forum member than autotrader, on the basis that you're only likely to be here if you've got a vague interest in looking after your car.

I've decided to abandon the search for an XC90, and go for a campervan instead. Who wouldn't want a Mazda Bongo, just for the name itself

I'm also ditching my high-mileage V70 for £395ono if anyone's interested. The link to that car is here...

It's the first time I'll have been without a Volvo for a while. Got to admit that the experience with the S40 was mixed, but the V70 has been epic.

If the XC90 was a well built as the V70, I'd probably have had one by now, but in truth I'm not sure it is. Anyhow, bye for now...
