  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default Volvo Quality Survey

Hi Folks,

I have received an email reportedly from Volvo asking me to take a survey about Volvo Quality:

"Thank you for your purchase of a Volvo V90. We truly appreciate having you as our customer and your trust in us.

We would like to invite you to participate in an important survey regarding your experience with the vehicle so far. We strive to deliver cars and services that are truly "Designed Around You," so your feedback will be analysed and used by our engineers to continuously improve the way we develop and build Volvo cars.

You may have already received a survey regarding your dealership experience. This survey is different, and specific to the quality of your Volvo V90."

Is this legit? Anyone else done this survey? The email address it comes from is volvo-qualitysurvey@volvo-quality.co.uk - just wonder if this is spam or for real - I have had the car since January.

The domain is registered to rda group who appear to be legit, probably used by volvo to carry out this type of survey. That said the whois could easily be fake and anyone can send an email purporting to be from anyone so impossible to say really with any certainty.

Ring Volvo UK and ask them if they can verify that email address. If not bin it.

I checked the web site volvo-quality.co.uk and it has every appearance of being genuine but if you are worried just delete it. There are no links to open which is another good sign.

I replaced the part of the email before ‘@‘ & incl. ‘@‘ with ‘www.’ (www.volvo-quality.co.uk)

It took me to what appeared to be a Volvo website dedicated to Quality Survey if at all it is. However, just because the domain address has the got word ‘Volvo’ in it and the web page has got Volvo logo on it doesn’t necessarily mean a Volvo-owned website.

I have had surveys from Volvo after buying all my cars in the past, but I did not get one this time, I wonder if its because I complained about the road noise in my current XC90 and they would expect a poor review.
Thinking back though I am sure all my surveys arrived in the normal post not via email. But I usually tick boxes to refuse marketing emails in any forms I sign or send via the internet. Which include 3rd party partners.

You do not need to fill in the survey, I would just delete the email if you are concerned at all.
