Would you buy another Volvo?

From a US survey: "Those who can afford more expensive cars also tended to be more capricious, with only 30 per cent of Volvo owners likely to buy another car from that brand..."

as a first time owner and without any brand loyalty, i would say yes. particularly whilst my kids are young.

Yes, I am a first time Volvo owner as well and still remain favourably impressed with my XC60.

For a while I considered updating to the MY12 model but the cost is prohibitive here, about $30,000 change-over margin to get more or less the same. I will let the idea mellow with time. The X3 with 3.0 TD appeals, for just a little extra money.

This is my second Volvo, I had a S60 D5 before the XC60.
I'm not planning on changing cars for another 2 years, but already feel I've painted myself into a corner as at the moment there's nothing else I can see that I'd rather own, than a XC60, so it might be another one of these.

This is my second Volvo first was V70 which was very good but lacked the ground clearance I need when I am in Italy. The XC60 is very good and has no problems on dirt roads or up in the mountains. I usualy cover 600 miles each day traveling to Italy with no problems, I went four times last year. The seats are great.

This is my first new Volvo (previously owned a 1997 V40) and I have to say that I would definitely buy another based on experience so far. Out of the cars I've owned, I would definitely buy another Fiat, would have bought another SAAB, wouldn't ever buy another Renault or Citroen again (with the exception of a 2CV)! I'm not a huge fan of German cars so it's not so much a question of brand loyalty, but there wouldn't be much to tempt me away from Volvo at the moment.

Yes, despite the issues suffered, as dealer has been good.Surprised that Merc was at 57% - this could be due to the strong brand image that persuades people?

Also, I can understand why loyalty is high amongst Japanese brands and Korean brands nowadays-good looking product with decent reliability and functionality. Japanese and Korean brands are trying very very hard - and it shows.

I am on my third wagon now. I said probably yes because I want to see how the new 4 cylinder engines hold up under all that power.

Am a typical Yank. I have a bad case of "polycylinderism" as an acquaintance called it and regard any 2.0 litre 4 cylinder putting out 302 hp with deep suspicion.
