Default Carmats - interesting.

I've looked at that site and could get a pretty close match to the Volvo typeface on a mat; has anyone actually got mats from this source and could vouch for their quality?

Incidentally, for a set of fronts with metal heel plate, custom logo and colour-matched trim it came to just over £60 inc. delivery, not too bad but I'll wait either for your comments or for my current mats to give up the ghost.

Well I've finally given up on the specialist garage who supplied my car. I believe I was badly treated on this matter, they have gone back on their word and will not supply the mats. So for the sake of a few quid they have lost my servicing, and future purchases, plus any good mentions in this forum.

Today I bought genuine front and rear 'R' mats, brand new for £87.50 +VAT for the set of four.

For those interested the part no. is P V09187172.

Stu,

You going to name and shame or just leave it at not providing a recommendation? I can't believe that they are going back on their word for the sake of £87.

The moral of the story that most of us are guilty of at some point in our lives is not getting it in writing. It's a shame, but at least you have a nice motor.

Andy,

I've emailed the name to you.

Will leave it at that, Others here may well have had satisfactory service from them. My gripe was not very well dealt with though, I'll go elsewhere in future.
