Default TD05 turbo upgrades

My 940 lpt has already had a turbu upgrade by a previous owner to an 850 unit. I'm assuming this would be the TD04-15g and has a bleed valve set so the car is running 10psi of boost.

I have a TD05-14b from a Mitsubishi GSR that I had rebuilt and am toying with the idea of putting it on. From what I can gather, I'd need to swap the housing for something with a T3 flange, have the manifold skimmed to suit but then I'm assuming it would perform better with a 16g compressor making the turbo an evo spec unit effectively.

Surely someone has done this already? How did it perform. The TD04's spool nice and early but run out of puff pretty quickly.

Interested in any examples you uk guys may have.

Thanks,

Aran
