Tim, does that affect your ability to Rica cars in the future or reapply the map that you've already done?

If I (for sake of the discussion) #had# had my car Rica'd and then required the Rica to be put back on as it had been overwritten would you still be able to get hold of the map?

Is there another distributor in the pipeline?

Andy

My T5 engine 'let go' with exactly the same reason given, and it was standard. Not sure how it can be proved it was the map. These things happen. Didn't go after the garage who serviced it 1000 miles previously!

Bit silly really not to have breakdown cover!!!

Andy, as far as i can see at present, should not be a problem to reload the org remapped software,, as its on Vin number,
Now order software direct from Rica !!

Apart from the fact that another similarly tuned car was running lambda 1 at full load and there was an admission from the tuner in question that he had also mapped his 'co-director's' car to run the same!! So do you think that mapping a tuned car to run at Lambda 1 at full load on the road safe for the engine?

Well, I'm sure he didn't realise it was a pre-requisite for dealing with the company in question; admittedly it looks increasingly like it should be.

I don't think that we have to stoop to that level.. We are intelligent folks here..

And we should say a welcome back to ol' imac as he hasn't been here since -ohhh - March..
Happy coincidence, perhaps..
Good to have you back..
