Default V70 D5 136kw 2009 black smoke/soot

Hello!
Any ideas?
Air leak test Done, boost pressure 1.8bar with remap. Injectors tested, all good. Maf, egr and many things tested.
Fuel pressure max 1600bar. Fuel pressure regulators tested. New swirls.
Dpf deleted by professional because of too often dpf cleaning.
No fault codes (vida)and no power loss, only massive black smoke.
New ECM soft from Volvo so i have tried almost everything.
Engine is running very smooth.
Sorry for my English.

Your dpf deleted is your issue!
Also some remaps over fuel to much.

If you used a more expensive fuel you may notice less smoke but you will still get some.

If your remap was done before you dpf delete that may have been the cause of your dpf issues.

D5244T4 shouldnt smoke at all even without dpf If everything ok and even remaped. It was removed until problem has solution,
Tested with many cars.
Tried with original soft already, still smoking.
Then Remap guy pulled down fuel even more than original soft, still smoking.
I hope there is no tunebox hided by preowner or something like that.

Removing DPF is immoral and illegal
Put it back
It's there so that your children can enjoy our planet

It wont help me! EGR is also there to save our planet. Thousands removed egr over the world. Go and nag over china pollution cloud. Dpf is not removed to drive around with more powerful car, just a way to get a chance to test a car.

OK, perhaps instead of saying:

"Dpf deleted by professional because of too often dpf cleaning. "

you could have said

"DPF temporarily removed for diagnostic purposes"

My 2008 D5244T4 has the original DPF and it never needs cleaning. I just use decent fuel and forget about the DPF.

So, to clarify, you had smoke before and after the DPF was present ?

And is the DPF not just to remove particles ? It sounds like the smoke you're describing is more than just diesel particulates. Do you think it's burning oil ?

Default Black smoke

Hi. I'm new here, so excuse me sticking a finger in.
You say you have carried out an air leak test. May I suggest you disconnect both ends of the intercooler and leak test that separately. I had one go on my old V70, D5, (still miss that car 308,000 miles and pulled like a train). It produced black smoke, no codes and idled as normal.
Just a thought.
