Default Best anti creak/squeek product

Can anyone advise the best way to stop cabin squeeks and creaks on the plastic parts inside the car. Stuff like the centre console arm rest, seat belt plastic moulding exits etc. My car is so quiet, these things stand out more now, especially as the radio isn't working at the moment

You asked for the best , this IS the best .... It's price reflects the quality and long lasting properties ... Your car will be silent after this is applied .

Silicone grease probably best but you can also use vaseline . My V70 creaked like an old boat when it was new mainly from the interfaces of the plastic shrouds around the top of the tailgate and rear windows , a main dealer had at least four attempts before they found where the noise was coming from .

I'v just rang a local Volvo dealer in Leeds. They have ordered some of this stuff and it will be here in a few days. I don't think 3.50 +vat is all that bad.

I'll let you know if it works
