You'll need to download it (around 6.3GB) and import it (not open it) in either Virtualbox or VMWare.

Once that's done, you just hit 'Start' and away you go. You may have to wait a minute or so for the VIDA monitor to go green in the taskbar, after that you're good to go, just launch VIDA-All-In-One and you're done.

Let me know if you have any issues
Alex your a legend. for both the link to the tablet and the VM. Thanks you kindly sir.

Default vidamonitor crashing?

Hi Alex

I've downloaded your VM and got it running via Oracle Virtualbox. The VMs starts up fine but the vidamonitor process just keeps crashing out with the message "vidamonitor has encountered a problem and needs to close"

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Thanks

AK

I must admit I've not seen that before.

What machine are you running it on? It might be worth amending the system settings for your machine as the RAM access it set up low especially for the laptop in the first link, which is no powerhouse.

Have you tried reloading the VM with a fresh copy of the image? Are there any changed you've made?

Hi Alex

Thanks for the quick reply! i've solved it by giving the VM additional CPU resources as I noticed that the VM was maxing out its virtual CPU on start up.

Default Problems.

Hi.
To restart this thread, I'm expecting delivery of a 2014 version on VIDA/dice unit from fleabay soon, so I thought I'd start set up on my HP Windows 10 laptop, I have downloaded the latest VM, and what appeared to be the latest Windows 7 link from http://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/for...5027&start=110 here following the instructions, and imported it to the VM. However it is saying broken link and/or just keeps trying to start Windows 7 in the VM over and over??

So what am I doing wrong?

Chris.

Maybe that W7 link is corrupt so for the sake of messing, just do this.

You'd be better off installing virtualbox and just using the link I provided above.

A lot of people have issues running Windows 7 - Even my local Volvo still use XP on some of their machines.

You'll recoup that with your first code read.
