Wow - thanks for the forum FAQs!! Was poking around this side since I'm looking at buying a 740 for a good friend that's in need of a dependable car with not much money.

Thank you , Thank you, Bob and Steve!!!!

These forums have proved invaluable to me getting and keeping my first Volvo (240 Wagon) running. Because of the help I know I can get from this forum, I have confidence in purchasing another Volvo for my friend.

Default Volvo 780 Bertone

Hello

I bought a 780 Bertone. from 1990
Chassis number is: YV1 78 2 28 2 0 D 0 10 327
It amazes me to figure No. 10 is a 0 -?
That should be an L
The car is in the club's list of chassis number.

Can the club provide an explanation for that?
The car a are from Frankrig

Hi there as you are a new member and not quite used to how it works then I would first like to welcome you onboard, And then help you get more answers by informing you that the FAQ section is mainly to look for articles on technical issues not really posting requests for help.If you want information regarding your car then try posting in the main section. If you look above this section on the left you will see a box with NEW THREAD.just click on there and hopefully some knowledgeable person will give you the answers you require.Don't be afraid to ask if you have trouble navigating here as someone will help you out.
And while we're at it why not go to the lounge section and introduce yourself to us all?
Regards Brian.

Oh and I think most 940 bumpers will fit the 740 as my 740 facelift model has a 940 front and rear fitted. The trim is sometimes colour coded on the 940 ones. The 740 one had no trim on mine it was just part of the moulding.
