Default Drop links Monroe?

Looking at a new set of drop links, Lemforder I know are OK but I see Monroe listing drop links.
Are these good quality?

Funnily enough, I have been looking at drop links this morning for my sons XC70.
I did not come across Munroe but, if I had, I would be quite happy to buy them; I have used Munroe shockers for years and have always found them to be excellent quality.

I baught Blistine drop links for my xc70 £16 including vat each from local factors with a bit of trade discount, volvo price was near £60+ each.

Factors had no name for £14 , bilstine been on 6 months and the originals needed changing as the tinkling stopped as soon as they were changed. Too early to judge quality as yet but hopefully it matches original that lasted 69,000 miles.

Paul.

I have gone for Lemforder HD from an eBay seller that sells hundreds so hopefully they are ok.
£50 for all four.
My house is at the bottom of a long bumpy lane that works the suspension hard so I doubt this is the last suspension repair I'll be doing!

I wouldn’t buy anything Monroe. The last set of their shocks I bought were very poor, I was looking to replace them after 30,000 miles but traded the car in.

Yes I get the impression Monroe have been bought out and b4stardised.....
Bought some uprated monroe shocks for front of my old car, supposedly better roll and dive resistance, very useful on that car. No noticeable improvement (except the worn damper bounce/lurch had gone) over stock and since fitted theres a little twitch to the right under braking which suggests the compression damping isnt consistent between the pair. They work ok to be fair, but no uprating to be experienced and an inherent inconsistency. Not what Id expect from Monroe of old...
