You would tap from the sender->ECU signal, it's how I'm running the clio williams ECU in my 340. The signal I get from the sender is the same as came off my 480's gearbox to the infocentre

To be honest mate, they aren't worth the bother, I have one in my 95 2.0i 460, it's bloody pants. lies about everything, cuts out when you need it leading to percussive maintenance, and on a hot day it decides to display everything in what looks to be Klingon!

Check your speedo by looking at the back of the dash, analogue is a coax like cable with a bayonette fitting, electronic is just a series of ribbon cable.

The link in the first post is dead, and I'm interested in 400 series Info Center... I want to try to make it work in a 700 series car. I might be onto something, but have mostly no idea on 400 series, and would need some first hand experience with Info Center, or at least a wiring diagram of 400 series car or I/C alone, at least.

If I make it through, there might be a nice DIY written for it.

Thanks people...
