Default Warranty Recommendations

My Volvo Approved Used Car Warranty is due to expire soon - I have experienced two issues since buying the car and on both occaisions, the Volvo Warranty did not cover (most serious/expensive being a YAW sensor which Volvo refused point blank to cover claiming is not an "ABS sensor"). As the Volvo Approved Used Car Warranty is not worth the paper it is written on, I would be interested in recommendations from this forum for an aftermarket warranty based on experience? Yes I could keep the cash in the hope nothing goes wrong but I would like the confidence that if the worse were to happen, I have a dependable warranty to fall back on. Which company and importantly what level of cover do you recommend taking?

I think you've answered your own question to be honest. From what i've seen and read on extended warranties they're near on pointless.

Honest John, the Daily Telegraph's motoring correspondent runs his own website. Warranties are a favourite gripe amongst his readers. Have a look through this lot, it may provide what you are looking for.

AA two year extended warranty Superb cover and the price of a volvo alternater so seems a bargain for £499. You need to haggle and they do tend to like us volvo drivers for some reason
