Anybody interested on a 360GLT with a body in superb condition but a broken engine ?

This car has been cosseted fom new, regular servicing with good quality oils and genuine parts, where possible.
This tender loving care was repaid by the oil pump pinion gear jamming the intermediate shaft at speed causing the timing belt to jump teeth.
Have freed both gear and shaft but engine does not sound healthy.

This was a second car used once or twice aweek.
It was actually running very well until this unfortunate event.
I no longer have the space or facilities to overhaul this engine. Poor health also doesn't help.
Running I would have been looking for about £1,500 ( insured value £3,000 )
in this condition £550 or reasonable offer.
Anyone prepared to sort the engine would have an excellent vehicle.

I have been after a 360 for a little while and this one fits the bill, I was supposed to hear from a gentleman who said I could have his fathers after he passed away but iv not heard anything.

Where is this one based and will it want trailering?

This vehicle is in essex not far from you. It will need to be taken on a trailer .

Running the engine will likely cause further damage as I fear the oil pump is at fault.
Engine really needs strip and an examination and possible partial rebuilt.
I have rebuilt a few engines in the past but as previously stated poor health and no longer having the facilities prevent me from doing the work.
