S40 V40: - Gears stick when trying to put into 5th gear

Hi

First time here so thanks in advance for any help/advice.

I have a 2001 V40 1.6i

When i try and put it into 5th gear the gearbox sticks and i end up in 3rd gear. Does it about 1/2 the time.

Is my gearbox on the way out or is it something simple? And will I have to be nice to my bank manager again?

Basically you need to replace the linkage bushes

Most dealers keep the required parts together as a kit, as it is such a common fault with the renault gearbox!

I'm pretty sure ive even seen sellers on ebay advertising the parts...
