I think obsessive is the word you're looking for!

I could hear the screams here in Oz when I posted a pic of my very, very, very mucky vehicle a few weeks ago - it guilted me into washing a car personally for the first time in many years. High pressure hose to clear the muck (a good 1/8" thick on the wheels), then sponge and fresh water, rinse and chamois.

Crucify me guys :P

TBH, a bunch of us here in the UK loved your photos. We clubbed together and were arranging our flight tickets for the emergency trip out to Oz. Everything was going well until the baggage and security people refused to let us on board with the clay bars (imagine what they could be mistaken for), the polish, sealants, waxes, aerosols and something called Colinite 345! And the the excess baggage charges for the hundreds of 'two bucket method' buckets and scores of 'noodle' mitts finished us off.

So we all went home disappointed and searched for something else to clean!

Best wishes to you, Arianne.

Ninja - do you have a list of what the ABD products are rebrands of?

Cheers

I wish but put simply a large proportion of all UK made car care products that are sold within the likes of ABD/AF etc. come from two UK sources Car Chem or Angelwax (also sometimes known under it's older name Anchem). Bilt Hamber are an exception to that though, never found a rebrand from them.

Most of the products you buy even if "bespoke" sometimes only have had the scent and colour changed from the likes of the rebranders. I am not saying the products are bad but look on Car Chem and angelwax before...you could save yourselves a packet.
