Stupid me....... I thought you were after the motor itself..... I will check them in the next couple of days and let you know. I had the same problem with mine too.

Hi mate, sorry to bother you again.

I have done a temp fix by wiring a switch to the white wire.

Can I have the heater control unit and unit behind the glove box please.

I could collect tonight if your free.

Default Headlamp units?

Hi, would the headlamp units from the S40 fit my 2000 V40 as a straight swap do you know? I've got cloudy ones and I want nice clear ones! Could you give me a price if so please?
Thanks
Priya

Yes you can fit them and not only they look better, but they are much brighter than the cloudy ones. You will have to do a bit of re-wiring though and replace your connectors for these headlights. I can cut the connectors from this car with 4-5 inches of wiring loom and send them with the headlights. I am after £60 for the pair of them

See guides here: http://volvoforums.org.uk/showthread...adlight+wiring

Thanks for that. I'm just trying to find someone to do the rewiring (not up to that myself) and will come back to you.
While I'm at it, would you have an oil dipstick that would fit my car? I'm sure I've got the wrong one and as this is a new acquisition the last thing I want is to starve it/overfill it.
Thanks,
Priya

Hi again,
Success! Have a volunteer to rewire & fit headlamp units. Are you including P & P in the £60?
I don't think I can do PMs yet as a newbie, but I may be able to receive if you can send me your paypal address. Will send the money as a gift.

Postage will be only £3.49 with Collect+. Check here: http://www.collectplus.co.uk/ with your postcode to see where the nearest collection store is. If it is too far or it is a problem, let me know and I'll look for an alternative.

Also, let me know what car/engine you have for the dipstick

Pm on its way
