Default Headlamp Deflectors

Hi to you all out there new to this so be nice.

I am trying to find out how to position headlamp deflectors I go to France on Saturday. I went to Halfords hoping they could help but they cant.

No surprise there then!!

Have a look at the following photo of my 940.



You should yourself see a defined pattern on the lens that will be similar to the above. It will be a matter of blocking off those sections of the lens.
However, if you have other Auto parts shops around, try them for a kit as the one I originally got had paper patterns for my lenses.

Was surprised that Halfords could not help. I purchased a set of deflectors from them for my S80 in the sumer for about 6 pounds. There are instructions on how to fit the deflector for each headlamp, the main issue being that the left hand one is upside down from the right.

To be perfectly honest I do not know how effective they are and i also turned my headlamp beam to the lowest setting, but at least I was legal and the Gendarmes did not bother me.

Hi,

Well, at least you didn't get into trouble while away..

Now you have some time, I would suggest that you have a check in some other Auto Shops and find a kit that has/includes a template.
Always handy for future reference..
