C70: - CD changer cable but no changer ?

Sorry of this is a dumb question, but I was looking at the back of my SC901 today - to see where the socket is for a cd changer - and I see lead is already plugged in ! But I don't have a changer in my car - unless they hide them somewhere.
SO what i'm asking is, do they put leads in under the carpets that go somewhere so you can plug a changer in later ? 'cos that would be so helpful and cool. Or am I just rilly confused.

Any ideas are so gratefully received.

Hello,
What model do you have?
The changer is predominately located in the boot but there is a glovebox model.
Some models are prewired however with no changer fitted or a previous owner may have removed it.
Have a look in the boot on the N/S for the other end of the cable.

My C70 has the changer cable too, but no changer.

I thought it maybe had one which was removed as a Sony head unit with matching 10 disc changer was in the boot when I bought it, which uses different cables again.

Quite possible that they're just pre-wired for it, would be hard to do it neatly otherwise!
