I'm after an aerial for a 240 estate. Would be very grateful to anybody that can help!

Have a look on Ebay, I think there was something there which might do. It looked as if the plastic bit which fits to the pillar was a slightly different shape but the advert said it was a sutable replacement fitting for a 240. Have a feeling there was a secondhand one advertised somewhere on there too.

When I needed on about three years ago, I got the real item from a dealer by post easily enough. Lookers at Colchester. And they gave me a discount when I mentioned that I belong to this forum.

You've just reminded me, I got one from the local agents, Riders at Truro a couple of years ago, at that time it was quickly and easily sourced. I think it was about £35.

Bought one on E-Bay from car-mast uk..cost about £14.00.
Covers the oval hole on the Volvo fine..connects to the female/male connector behind the spare wheel ok. Ariel can be unscrewed easy if you need to put on a car cover. Works fine. Only thing you need to do is drill a 20mm hole as shown to access the nut to secure it... Regards Colin.GARDEN 004.JPG GARDEN 005.JPG |

what year, and how much of the aerial do you need? if you just want the screw-on mast for the late style on the passenger side D pillar, I've got 2 spares.
