Anti Skid Service Required
Yes I know... yet another thread about this infernal POS...
Is there any way of telling which ABS ECU/pump I have without taking it off the vehicle. Its buried behind the battery and knowing my luck the info label will be facing the bulkhead (!), so is there a way of identifying it via a diagnostic unit for example? The car is a 57 plate S40 D5 auto. I reckon mine is pooped as I'm getting the brake pressure sensor signal missing code BCM-0130, so I'd like to buy one off ECU Testing and then just swap it out in a day, rather than have the car off the road for a few days waiting for mine to be reconditioned. Many thanks

Just found a way to get the part number info using the fault code reader. Its booked into the local garage on Monday to have my diagnosis checked before I buy a recon unit...
