Default v40 headlight lens

Hi

Can anyone tell me the best/easiest way to go about replacing the headlight lens (03 V40). I can access the metal retaining clips on the top of the light, but access to the bottom ones is restricted. Do I have to remove the headlight entirely, or the front bumper? If so - how?

Thanks in advance for any help on this

Thanks for the info, Scott.

couldn't pull the bumper away far enough to remove the headlight. Ended up having to drop the bumper slightly to access the headlight. Followed the instructions in the haynes manual, found the two large bumper retaining bolts to remove, and undid the bumper/wheel arch screw. Had to loosen off two undercovers to acheive this - what a pain!

All done now though - just waiting for it to steam up and then have to do it all over again....

cheers for the links.
