Every 7xxGLE i've had has had all that as standard, this is the first with A/C as standard and the first 760GLE so i don't know if "Winter Packs" were standard on GLE spec 7xx models but given the choice, i'd rather be hot than cold.

That said, the ultimate is having control over all conditions to how i want them to be.

Winter Pack ? There was no such thing, heated seats (& headlamp w/w) were standard fit on all 700s and 900s for the UK market.

I'm so surprised that nobody has mentioned Wurth Plastic Dye. I've used it on my R ever since I've had it. Remarkable stuff. Went to get some last week and it's significantly cheaper than it used to be.

Salut!

How long does the Wurth Plastic Dye stuff last though?

Someone suggested baby lotion years ago, it evaporated within 2 hours. Shoe polish also didn't do squat.

Might try some ACF50 as I need to buy another bottle anyway.

Wurth plastic dye easily 12 months, but if you wax polish it,18 months to 2 years.

Salut!

I am re visiting this thread because a time has almost come for me to try the C4 product on my 240 SE.

I am just wondering now however.

Does anyone have any experience of other persons shall we say applying a different external plastic cleaner during the anticipated life of a C4 treatment of their car's trim?

If so, has that had an adverse effect on their car's C4 treatment?

Thank you.

Peanut butter....oh yes....

Does anyone have any info/experience re C4 encountering other treatments applied subsequently, e.g. by a car wash operative, please?

If i covered my bumpers in peanut butter, i'd never get the hound in the car for walkies!

Jon (Prufrock) was banned a month or two back, not sure why.
