Default Hatfields In Bury

Hi,

Does anyone have experience of Hatfields Volvo in Bury?

I used them for 4yrs and 100k with my company V60 and thought they were ok, but since I've had my own V70 the customer service has been awful.

From simple stuff like not calling back to annoying things like the ongoing email conversation I am having with the service manager about sorting a rattling front speaker under warranty despite the car still being under the original warranty when he sat in the car and agreed it wasn't right, and the car having an extended warranty direct from Volvo.

Is it just me?!?

Thanks
Steff

Not just you. I've been completely underwhelmed by their lackluster service too. And I'm boycotting them, have been for over five years now, it'll be a cold day in hell before I use them again.

ok, thanks.

Stupidly I took out a service plan with them so I am stuck with them for the next couple of services.

Out of interest who do you use? I was thinking of going to Bryn motor company in Wigan, who appear to be a volvo specialist, once the warranty and service plan run out.

Warrington rybrook volvo have always been really good to me. Even over the phone they are helpful and the parts area do great discount if you fill the registration form in.

I intend to give a new one in Stockport a try, which opened shortly after my Bury experience. But I do my own servicing and have managed to source parts from elsewhere, usually online.

Bit surprised with the comments about Hatfields. Bought my XC90 off them a few years ago. Nothing but excellent service. Currently run a XC70 just had it in for a service including a new serpentine drive belt, spent a couple of hours mooching round the showroom, watched a bit of tele and enjoyed the free coffee and blueberry muffins. Did'nt get wallet bashed, could not fault them, few days later follow up call from them asking if all was ok. They have been ok with me.
