Default anyone notices this - occasional dark line in 12.3" display

I've noticed recently there was a vertical dark line across the right-hand-side of the 12.3" driver's display.

It happened twice - coincidentally both happened under "Chrome rings" theme, and both happened in the afternoon...

The problem disappear after engine off + lock the door for a few minutes.

The car was picked up last Wednesday, done 180 miles so far. Volvo UK is looking at this issue.

I have never had this happen on my XC90.

It looks like an LCD panel fault.

I vaguely remember someone else having a similar problem and I think the screen was replaced.

Lucky me!

Dealer checking with Volvo UK and Sweden, promising a quick satisfactory fix.

I'll carry on enjoying the car... 250 mile business trip Wednesday - Friday into Scottish weather.

Will see how the OEM Pirelli scorpion verde perform in the cold rain.

I had this problem after 200 miles, it disappeared after a couple of days and hasn't happened again, the vehicle now has 19,600 on the clock. When I rang the dealer they were spectacularly unhelpful

Well as a computer guy I have seen more than a few laptops with similar issues over the years. Certainly should be replaced under warranty without question if it persists.
