I am looking at doing this to my V50 at the mo too, so am very interested to hear how you got on

Upon closer inspection, it's not possible. The grille has the badge and slice moulded into it

Should have just looked properly in the first place lol. Ah well, might just paint it all black and see if there are different VOLVO stickers.
