Is this a a relative easy fix?
My S80 ((2007) i believe might need replacement heating pads for my drivers heated seat. Are these easily available from Volvo or independents and what sort of cost would they be?
I guess the seat will need to come out but my local independent Volvo centre in Camberley could hopefully do it easily? Silly question but how do you get the old ones out and the new ones in the seat - will it need stitching?

no stitching required . remove seat remove cover inspect heating pad for breaks in the element and wireing there are a few posts and some you tube videos on this. replace seat cover be carefull with the hog rings they are difficult and sharp some times its easyer to use zip ties

Did the heater pads on my P2, used zip ties to replace the hog rings.
