  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Gosh, that's really sneaky. It's the kind of amateur security dodge which works surprisingly well, as you have proved!
I found another one once in a classic car I had just bought from a friend. There was a loose switch in a tangle of wires at the back of a glove box. My friend knew nothing about it, but it was in fact a break in the positive supply from battery to coil. I found its purpose by accident - I wonder what this switch does, probably nothing? Engine cut out.

Mother Julian of Norwich - 'All will be well, and all will be well, and all manner of thing will be well'. One of the 'wells' might be 'shall', use of the emphatic would seem appropriate, but I'm sure you can check that, Stephen.
